Special Initiatives

Book Projects

Chester Marshall and others are currently developing scholarly literature that promotes a curative hypothesis and subsequent liberating action with African-American Men and Boys.

Black Man Heal Think Tanks

The Think Tanks are 2-day meetings held in the predetermined high impact city centers across the United States. These cities are chosen because they are the gateways to other high impact cities and towns that surround them. The purpose of these meetings are to bring together A-list experts, scholars, community practitioners, academics, and writers who serve African-American Men and Boys, to develop the comprehensive plan/blueprint for serving this population. The goal is to create written documents that will give guidance to others who work with African-American Men and Boys.

Research

Chester Marshall and others are currently proposing empirical research that uses real-life variables and leads to illuminating insight and lasting social change with African-American Men and Boys.
